Mr. Andrey Barannikov

& Chairman, Russian Communications Consultancies Association


Andrey Barannikov is an awarded Russian PR-influencer and the CEO of SPN Ogilvy communications agency. SPN Ogilvy, with over 300 communications professionals, is a part of worldwide Ogilvy Public Relations chain. Ogilvy has offices in more than 80 countries.

In 2012 Mr. Barannikov was elected as the Chairman of the Russian Communication Consultancies Association (AKOS, the Russian branch of ICCO). Barannikov is also the Vice-Chair of Russian Public Relations Associationin. Mr. Barannikov has been named one of the Russia’s 50 most professional top managers in the Top 1000 Russian Managers annual rating, compiled by Kommersant Publishing House and the Russian Managers Association, in the Professional Services category.

In ProCom Day / Nordic, Baltic & Russian PR Leadership Forum Mr. Barannikov will give us an overview on opportunities and challenges in Public Relations in Russia.

Ms. Päivi Kärkkäinen
General Director, Finnish National Opera


Ms. Päivi Kärkkäinen is the General Director of the FNO. She is responsible for management of operations and administration, budget monitoring, Board liaison, personnel recruitment and employment matters.

The Finnish National Opera is an employer on a significant scale: opera and ballet can only be created through the combined efforts of a great number of people. Permanent personnel number is 537: 110 orchestra members, 52 singers in the choir, 19 soloists, 77 ballet dancers and 55 other artistic or production personnel; 168 technical and workshop personnel; and 47 administrative personnel. It is an international crowd, representing altogether 27 nationalities. In addition to the permanent staff, about 1100 guest personnel visit the Finnish National Opera each year. There is also a Ballet School with 200 students, of whom 39 are studying to be professional dancers.

Ms. Anne Gregory
Professor of Public Relations and Director of the Centre for Public Relations Studies, Leeds Metropolitan University, United Kingdom
 

Dr Anne Gregory is Professor of Public Relations and Director of the Centre for Public Relations Studies at Leeds Metropolitan University.  An internationally recognised researcher and widely published, Anne also heads a specialist consultancy from the centre working for diverse public and private sector clients.

After working in broadcast journalist, Anne spent 10 years as a senior practitioner before moving on to academia.  She was President of the CIPR in 2004, leading it to Chartered status and was awarded the Sir Stephen Tallents Medal for her outstanding contribution to the profession.  In June 2010 Anne joined the Board of the Global Alliance and is currently Chair Elect.

 

Mr. Daniel Tisch

Daniel Tisch is widely known as an international public relations practitioner, speaker, writer and industry leader. He has earned more than 100 major communications industry awards and advised some of the world’s most respected organizations. Mr. Tisch appears regularly in media such as the New York Times, the Globe and Mail, Reuters, PR Week Global Thinktank and Politico.

 
 

Tommy Lundberg, Adviser in Communication, Writer and Author, Great Words


Tommy Lundberg has his background in the advertising industry, working as copywriter and creative leader for 25 years, with clients such as Apple, Audi, Ericsson, H&M, IKEA, OMX, SAS amongst others. He is also the founder of the advertising agency Lundberg & Co where he was the CEO for 12 years.

Today he runs the company Great Words, working as adviser in communication, writer and author. Tommy is also a partner in the company Brinc Relations, working with ”experience based communication” for clients such as Mackmyra Whisky, Midroc, Ovako, Sandvik, Statistics Sweden and others.

Tommy is a popular lecturer who talks about leadership and communication based on the book ”Apeology – evolution for managers and leaders” (Apinajohtajan Käsikirja in Finnish). Tommy has written three books on the subject of leadership and communication, two of them together with the social scientist  Ola Berggren.

is the CEO of 925 Design, a design company for better worklife. He is a co-author of a book Työkirja ("Workbook") which introduces practical day-by-day habits that helo us to get more done. Before 925 Design Pekka had a 19-year career with Nokia leading innovation, marketing, and phone creation teams.

Mauro Sacchi is responsible for Wärtsilä Ship Power's strategy development, process, and communication, rolling out the biggest strategy communication plan Wärtsilä Ship Power has ever done. Mauro's team has so far touched face to face each employee of the division (1000+ employees) in over 30 countries, conveying the strategy message in a very interactive way.

Wärtsilä Ship Power's strategy communication plan was awarded with the first prize in Internal Communications category in Communications Awards 2012 organized by The Finnish Association of Marketing Communication Agencies.

Aune Past

Aune Past is the founder and first president of Estonian Public Relations Association. She is also one of first Estonain members of International Public Relations Association, IPRA. Aune has also been a lecturer of PR and communication in Tartu University, and is the author of several Estonian PR textbooks. Estonian media has named her "The Mother of Estonian PR".

Therese Manus is Hønningstad is the Managing Director of ProCom's sister organization in Norway, the Norsk Kommunikasjonsforening. Before Kommunikasjonsforening Therese worked at the National Library of Norway and Energi Norge.

At ProCom Day Hønningstad will facilitate the round table discussion about "Communications Executive: The impact of their influence?"
